Mezzanine level of a sub-core looking down, to my knowledge, all of the mezzanine levels have been leased by Southwest for office space.
Southside exterior
Concession space, compared to the current space on the existing concourses, the new spaces will have higher ceilings with more window exposure.
The end of the concourse with the opening down to the new commuter area on the east end.

Den1895, thanks again for the pictures and updates. Question: how many hard stands (spaces) are planned for the commuter airlines on the new east end of Concourse C?

Must be more restaurants? I can't imagine any other airlines would be thinking of moving their lounge out there. Also, what's that lower level area in the first picture?

I may be in the minority here, but I think she was actually a pretty effective airport executive. The terminal situation is unfortunate, but I think it shows courage that she was willing to stop the Great Hall Partners when it became clear that it was not going to work out. I think plenty of other bureaucratic executives would have looked the other way and waited until it was too late to do anything about it. When you consider what the airport was like in 2008, I think she's still leaving it in better hands than when she started.

I agree. I don’t think they’ve handled everything perfect but on general outcomes it’s hard to argue with anything that’s been accomplished. The amount of misogyny in the attacks against her have been an eye-opening experience

It was for a soccer team charter, it originated in Zurich, just stopped in Iceland for gas.

I have not heard any criticisms where gender is a factor. Personally, I have not been a fan of her performance as CEO of the airport and generally happy to see her retiring (assuming we get an upgrade with her replacement). While there are some positives with international route additions, most of her tenure has been tainted with multiple poorly managed construction projects, cost overruns, and airport infrastructure that is badly deteriorating due to lack of maintenance (e.g. bathrooms, escalators, moving walkways, trains, etc.).

The remaining gates on Concourses A-West, B-East and C-East are on time and on budget, with plans to be operational in 2022.

My plane got to the gate but had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up to tow us in. The trains were so packed with people, I had to wait for a second one. And then when I get to the terminal? One escalator on one side was out. Nevermind the fact that the terminal still also looks like a war zone. I used to be so proud of this airport, and maybe the terminal redevelopment and concourse expansions will be great, but it’s hard to ignore the fact that the core passenger experience has only deteriorated in recent years.

i cant defend the ongoing construction

That’s a fair point. The flight was delayed. I was on UA mainline. The train and escalator issues though are a plague on the airport.

I will be flying into Denver this Friday. Based on what you've described at DEN, I can't wait for the Deja Vu moment to hit me...!
Luckily it looks like Denver will be getting a break in the clouds on Fri/Sat, so hopefully my flight won't have to divert elsewhere due to thunderstorms.

Its bad enough they they let Hancock make the call given his track record with the city of Denver, should have been some sort of committee to find a new candidate.

With no announcement (yet) on easing of restrictions for EU citizens wanting to enter the U.S., do we anticipate this route actually happening this year? I have a flight booked in September so I’m hoping for the best.
