If the 763 PS mod is any indication, maybe we'll see an official seat map from DL pretty shortly after this enters service. I assume not much else will be changing...possibly the removal of one more row of Y than the number of rows of PS (W?) that will be added?

From what I've heard from reliable sources:
332: remove 1 row C+, 3 rows Y = 3 rows PS
333: remove 2 rows C+, 2 rows Y = 3 rows PS

Seeing 2 75D's exiting QRO today as DL9960 (687, also RTS later today) and DL9972 (667). Not sure what 685 is having done while there, but it's been there much longer than these two.
Looks like 3238 is in SAL for mx. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n338nw
3275 is en route to SAL now. Unsure if it's turning or staying: https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/N375NC

A couple of them actually received the Nitrogen Generation System (NGS) mod. I suppose it was those planes.

They aren't scrapped because both of them are still technically leased. I'm not sure why the leases can't be broken.

N662US, N666US, and N669US-N676NW are stored as per planespotters. Page was updated around this year.

Often mutual agreement not to terminate leases, due to tax implications for lessor, lessee and funding participants, even to the extent payments are made by the lessee and partly / fully refunded to the lessor (or as a credit against other truly active leases).

I suspect because of their age they’re also not scrapped. They’re 2002 builds and have a better chance of getting out in one piece than the other ones. They only flew for a little over a decade and have lots of life left if more 744s get converted to freighters.

All other DL 747s at MZJ are in a different area in various stages of disassembly.

They’re “stored” but they’re being gutted and won’t fly again.

On the planespotters page for Delta, I've noticed that there is only one active 757 left that is painted in the skyteam livery. Reg. is N705TW
                https://www.planespotters.net/airline/Delta-Air-Lines

Why is this though? I've noticed that DL doesn't do retros or many special liveries for the matter (except Breast Cancer Foundation livery on the 764) whereas UA and AA have many more. I've heard that the DL management isn't a fan of retros because it is brand inconsistent or something, but I seriously wonder why they can't do a few more special liveries other than BCF and the small prints close to the aircraft nose, like on the 777...

I wonder if that one will even stay in it after whenever a repainting is needed. N659DL (another 757) was also in the Skyteam livery until sometime in the last 2-3 years or so.

Delta has never been big on logo lights too. Maybe DL mgmt has decided that most people buy tickets for other reasons than retro paint jobs or lit up vertical stabs. I did like the pink Breast Cancer Awareness 757.

Other SkyTeam members have planes carrying the SkyTeam branding.
It's similar with Star Alliance and oneworld members.

If you have a brand, how better to promote than having some aircraft carrying that branding?
That and it's likely the membership terms requires it.

DL’s logo light usage is really no different from most other US airlines. If you don’t see the logo lights on probably either the pilot forgot or the light bulb is burnt out and hasn’t been replaced yet (not a major priority).

I've heard that the DL management isn't a fan of retros because it is brand inconsistent or something, but I seriously wonder why they can't do a few more special liveries other than BCF and the small prints close to the aircraft nose, like on the 777...

Delta has never been big on logo lights too. Maybe DL mgmt has decided that most people buy tickets for other reasons than retro paint jobs or lit up vertical stabs. I did like the pink Breast Cancer Awareness 757.

DL’s logo light usage is really no different from most other US airlines. If you don’t see the logo lights on probably either the pilot forgot or the light bulb is burnt out and hasn’t been replaced yet (not a major priority).

Pilot’s wouldn’t forget if put on Pre-Flt checklist.....not a priority for DL. I think it’s a safety issue at night. More lights illuminated on the airplane the better.

Does anyone know the status of N403DX, fleet number 3403, that is in AMS since May 16 apparently with some engines issues?

Airbus/Rolls are investigating the cause of the "uncommanded" engine shutdown on approach. Unknown RTS.

Well it has been almost 5 months since its visit to SAL, so perhaps something has come up which obviously need to be addressed there. The ferry flight to SAL was apparently cancelled today.

They actually have plans for a big decal on an A350 in preparation for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angels, which was supposed to be revealed beginning of this year, but who knows when they’ll announce it.

Is there any discussion of the logo being enlarged to something closer to billboard titles? DL seems to be one of very few now who hasn’t adapted to the bold, larger or billboard type logo. IMO, AFs update looks great.

It would be nice to see one or two a/x from each type receive the SkyTeam livery. It’s my favorite of the three alliances. Very sharp.

It is doubtful they are looking at revising anything at this point. The focus now is to get the airline back up to speed and paying down debt. The mantra is if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

1708 is still at MCI (did a test flight on 5/20, which I assume was STC-related). Unsure when it will exit and enter service. Mods aren't supposed to resume until this fall, from what I've heard.

Does anyone know the status of N403DX, fleet number 3403, that is in AMS since May 16 apparently with some engines issues?

                This was the incident:

                http://avherald.com/h?article=4e780f87&opt=0

N403DX was still sitting inside a hanger at AMS on May 22, 2021.

DL9960 (AMS - JFK) planned for tomorrow with a 339 for a 1210 local time departure, might be 3403 going homebound?
