It was to take 1003's spot on the mod line, so that likely indicates that 1003 is heading out shortly.

Assume both are heading to USAJet. The freighter conversions had been in DHN so I don't know these were headed to YIP unless maybe planning to keep in pax config?

I drove by YIP last weekend, and both MD88s are parked on the west side of the airfield in front of the Ameristar hangar.
In the "retired" DL livery with the titled painted over, and the red part of the widget painted over on the tail, except it remaining on the rudder.

I'd post a pic if I could.

Scheduling of maintenance/etc on the others + scheduling of parts would be my guess.

screens? The 767 J seat has the worst D1 IFE interface in the entire fleet.

It was a busy day and the aircraft was full of marketing people. Apologies I didn't take any photos...

Looks like 3330 has been canceled both the 21st and today, the 22nd. Any thoughts why it keeps canceling? Is this crew related, mechanical?

Is that long-term storage on the two 757s? Seems like most of the others which have been listed recently have been coming straight back into service.

edit- But those two were in service and their trips to BHM were cancelled with a bunch of scheduled flights again.

There have been a handful of A319, 738, and 752 that are going into temp storage at BHM and SBD when they time-out of heavy maintenance. At least until they can be scheduled but there is a backlog so some have to be parked until there is a spot. That being said, some may be parked out until 2022 as they wouldn’t be really needed until next spring / summer peak
