What really caught my attention is 1) Mainline has never been scheduled to fly into PLN. 2) DL retired the MD-80s a year ago. Am I misreading this situation or would DL pull an aircraft out of storage due to extreme backlog of flights?

I use planespotters.net - But most times I have to decipher the ship number to find what type it belongs to so I created a text file with those broken down. Here is the contents of that text file. I wonder if there is a website where you can enter the ship # and it will tell you the tail #.

Same here...had me doing a double-take. I would imagine someone following the thread may know more about it.

I seem to remember VQQ did some B-717 modification / induction work for DL when the 717 fleet was first being brought on property. But I also don't remember any Airbus work being done there for Delta. Will be interesting to see if more A320 family planes are sent there or if this is a one-off.
