As part of the Dutch financial aid the government got a 5 year guarantee of the independence of KLM and the position of AMS in the AFKL network, and now has a 'state-agent' who oversees the spending of the government loan; effectively giving the government veto power.

With this new power and guarantees since COVID the Dutch government gained power even if the stake in AFKL will be lower.
