Which gate will G4 be using at PHX?

Not confirmed but I believe they will be slotted in somewhere on F1-F3 each day where they fit.

Could G4 be the first to experiment with busing operations from T3S? Especially if they experience success at PHX and grow their schedules out of the airport .

Is there a dedicated gate set up for bussing in T3S?

F13/F14 are setup for bussing or ground boarding.

It's about time. They've been trying to get this moving for the better part of 15 years.

It just kills me. When I still lived in DC up to Oct. of 2014, for what seemed like decades, all my many, many trips between DCA & PHX on AA (which of course were all via either DFW or ORD) were virtually a solid wall of Mad Dogs (with occasional 757's thrown in pre-9/11 and pre-2008). NOW there's a plethora of widebodies.

How times have changed…

Can’t wait for the hoards of people to be back in Phoenix for the winter. Bleh.

To be sure.

As for snow bird hordes, I hear ya, but they provide one helluva economic boost to the area & the state, so we shouldn't complain too loudly. At least a lot of them are our very friendly Canadian neighbors.

I live in the West valley very close to Sun City. Overall I find them pleasant and friendly as a good boost to the local economy. They are an occasional PIA on the road but ehh it's ok. The West Valley retiree's overwhelmingly prefer PHX over AZA.

Last talk was June 2022. The bridge from S2 to N2 opens in November.

I noticed construction immediately west of the A checkpoint. Is the bridge going to cut through the terminal behind the old Starbucks? I assume that it is a far less expensive option than to build one between N1 and S1, in the same fashion as N4/S4.

Yes. It is also going to be the new combined exit for the A & D checkpoints giving them much needed room to expand (particularly A).

Denver Air Connection is starting PHX-TEX in December. Where at PHX will this operate from? Assuming this will be in a Dornier 328JET?

It'll have to be T3S, the gating priority setup at T4 would allow AA/WN to bump them off a gate just due to aircraft size.

I've heard October 29 as the opening date for the bridge. With both the A and D security checkpoint expansion being completed by March of next year.
