I remember when their brand change went horribly wrong. If I remember right it was changed back to Expressjet almost immediately with how badly it was received by employees.

Just don’t see how this could work out for them in this environment.

As we all know, ExpressJet tried this once before in 2007/2008 but unfortunately the recession hit and fuel prices skyrocketed. Hopefully the timing will be better this time.
Back in 2007 ExpressJet.....
Did they really fly BFL-FAT or is that my eyes reading the map.

I don't remember Santa Barbara but I definitely remember FAT-LGB and SAN

They should be able to beat DAC and complete with Skywest if they get a full codeshare with a major

That's the key thing though, who would that be? Doesn't UA still have a stake in EV? If so, DL, AA, or AS are probably out. And do you think UA would play EV against OO? That could easily get very messy.
Without a full codeshare, I'd say E35/45 are probably too big for most EAS markets. The best they could hope for is do something like LF and try for AEAS. But there are less opportunities there, and it would require a bigger investment in the local community. Has EV the will to do that?

Imo, what a comedy of a name.

Expressjets new airline will fly from reno to those 8 cities. Is there even demand? Its like avelo but reno instead of Burbank

This would make more sense if it were Burbank, but RNO?? Maybe it’ll work, but I’m skeptical. Especially RNO-RDM/EUG/MFR

RNO isn't bad, but I personally believe SMF would be the better choice. Word on the street is fees are pretty high there, however.
As far as deals and packages, they can also draw for Lake Tahoe demand. I wish the new XJT well!
