Frankfurt has (by my count) 87 passenger airlines and 21 cargo for 108 airlines:

I wonder which airport has the most? I thought it would be FRA... but apparently not.

The website for SIN claims Changi has more than 100 airlines. I haven't attempted to count them, but I can certainly believe it.

JFK used to be close in the late 90s. Consolidation and secondary Euro carriers folding ended that

Dubai had ~140 airlines pre-pandemic. My understanding was that it had the most for the past decade or so. It’s currently ~95.

If you include cargo airlines, it sure does.

If I counted correct, Singapore has 77 passenger airlines which is pretty average for a large airport. However with 38 cargo airlines it comes to a total of 115 airlines. Still no record, that goes to Paris Charles de Gaulle with 118 airlines (100 passenger and 18 cargo airlines). But certainly good enough for a second place.

So far I've got these numbers:

- Charles de Gaulle, 100 passenger, 18 cargo, 118 total
- Singapore, 77 passenger, 38 cargo, 115 total
- Frankfurt, 88 passenger, 21 cargo, 109 total
- Amsterdam, 76 passenger, 27 cargo, 103 total
- Dubai, 88 passenger, 7 cargo, 95 total
- Heathrow, 83 passenger, 8 cargo, 91 total
- Madrid, 73 passenger, 10 cargo, 83 total
- Istanbul, 75 passenger, 1 cargo, 76 total

List is not guaranteed to be complete.

Counting wikipedia on JFK, 27 cargo and 74 passenger. Pretty sure not all operating right now, but puts them at 101.
LAX 29 cargo and 66 passenger - total 95

Maybe MIA might be close, doubt any other US airports are even close..

MIA was in the upper 90s and probably would’ve broken 100 with the recent new arrivals if the pandemic hadn’t happened.

Of course, that was counting things like LATAM Chile and LATAM Brazil as separate carriers.
