TAP A330NEO involved in a ground incident in Guinea Bissau

A TAP A330NEO operating flight TP1477 from LIS, registration CS-TUJ was involved in a ground incident upon landing in Bissau where the aircraft impacted a pole which tore off the sharklet.

Maybe on certain aircraft winglets are configuration deviance list items not on all and sure about what their opspec and options are but its possible if they were to fly it back empty, but it maybe quicker and easier just to fly a new winglet out

That looks expensive.

I wonder how integrated to the wing structure the NEO wingtip devices are.
On legacy 330/340s, they're fairly straightforward to remove and CDL out. Not so sure in this case.
I'll do my own airline. With Blackjack. And hookers. In fact, forget the airline.

Undoubtedly a write-off :old:

It appears another A 339 flight # TAP 9252 is on its way to Bissau right now. Looks like a special flight likely carrying the replacement winglet and to take out passengers booked on the stranded aircraft.
