This becomes law, you'll see the return of the great American road trip.
Lots of folks have or will decide it's simply easier to pack up the family
and hit the Interstate.

And for the record, I'm fully vaxxed.

FAA issued a notice of proposed extension of a waiver of the minimum slot usage requirement for all international operations March 26, 2022, at JFK, LGA and DCA.
FAA will also retain carrier baseline international allocations for cancelled services at Level-2 airports at EWR, LAX, ORD and SFO through March 26, 2022 also.

I have a child that isn't fully vaccinated and this stops the family from flying; I don't have 3 days before my custody to test (I'm divorced). Despite that, I am for the mitigation efforts to slow the spread of variants.

My issue is why isn't the same rule in place for amusement parks (example: Disneyland) and large indoor sporting events (example NBA)?

I agree this will increase road trips. This will hurt airlines. I know of no magical method to stop the hospitals filling up every wave. I am open to solutions.

Then a completely different story. Emirates to hire 3500 staff (of which 3000 are cabin crew) over six months. That is quite a bet on vaccines/return to normal:

Just about every single vaccine mandate from private employers has been upheld by the courts so far!
