This happens quite often. I know the Baltimore Ravens do this often with various promotions. I would think other teams do the same.

Looks like the Radisson Paper Valley Inn in Appleton, WI is getting back into the NFL biz. Haven't seen anyone else flying into ATW this year.

Teams are notorious for running on a strict schedule on roar games to keep as much routine as possible. Wonder how much this will affect them for tomorrow night's game.

Also, the Paper Valley is no longer a Radisson and since became a Red Lion to which the quality diminished drastically. I don't think the league or the Collective Bargaining Agreement has any language regarding use of airplanes over buses. Best I can tell, it's team choice. This week, Washington is flying to PHL to play the Eagles, though I think the Eagles prefer to drive when going to Washington. Part of that is the fact that the Washington FC practice facility (where teams originate their travel) is only a few miles north of IAD, meaning flying is slightly more convenient than a 90-105 minute bus ride. I don't know what hotel visiting teams use before heading over to Landover, but I have seen examples of visiting teams flying into BWI to play Washington FC, leading me to think the hotel is on the Maryland side and potentially closer to Baltimore. The Eagles also prefer bus when going to play the Giants/Jets. Proximity/availability of hotels also influences the choice to drive or fly.
