Anybody track the Taliban flight from Qatar into Kandahar?

"This afternoon, a high level delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan led by Mullah Baradar Akhund left Qatar and reached their beloved country in the afternoon and landed at Kandahar Airport."

The helicopter active over KBL today was N243XX, so USA registered. What I could find online is that they were bought by the US Army for the Afghan Army. But the main question is, who has control over them today and who is flying them.

Don't forget, US Dept of State, CIA, and other contractors also fly all sorts of helos out of there, including MI-8 series, so probably not ANA.

Spain Air Force sent an A400M, maybe even a second one will join, around 40 people on board, I guess Air Force crew and some military personal to help and protect, Flew from ZAZ to Minhad AF in Dubai, and I think tomorrow it will fly to KBL to help evacuating around 400 people, we will see how that happens.

The US has taken over ATC duties for Afghanistan, so the RC-135 may also be working as a control center and coms relay link.

The RC-135 is more likely gathering intel to help develop the electronic order of battle. There is a good writeup of EOB in this Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Signals_i ... c_analysis if you would like a more in depth explanation.

Here is an interesting fact sheet about the USAF RC135W now orbiting Kabul. This could be used for ATC or many other things.

SAS sent two A320neos from Copenhagen yesterday direct to Islamabad. DAT sent an Md82 as well with a fuel stop in Tbilisi.
Military aircraft also in the vicinity flying into KBL when possible.

Edit: Currently there’s a Danish Air Force aircraft on the ground at Kabul

It appears that there are 4 Omni 767s inbound to the AOR, three of which are frequent visitors to Kabul under more “normal” circumstances.

N423AX/441AX landed at OTBH from LBSF a couple of hours ago as Omni 700 and 703 respectively, and to finish off the trio of the discreetly painted 767s is N495AX which departed KIAD as OAE600 most likely enroute to LBSF as well.

Additionally N486AX operating CMB144 from Baltimore/Ramstein is currently over the Red Sea, headed in the direction of the Gulf bases.

I would link them, but frankly I cannot for the life of me figure out how to link a flight from ADSBexchange.

DAF1847 from LTAC C30J B537 due OAKB at 1927z. Departed LTAC at 1357z so should be on the trackers.

Edit - appears to be fully blocked from FR24 as there isn't even an UNID icon when tracing the route back from ADSBexchange: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=45f429

Supposedly privately owned by Zamaray Kamgar. Perhaps they are aiding evacuation? Or just trying to get assets somewhere safer now that limited commercial operations are allowed?

According to their corporate site they provide "passenger charter flights to the Afghan Presidency, ANSF, the German Embassy, Tetra-Tech GSSP, the US Army and the US Embassy, as well as to private companies and NGOs in both Afghanistan, and internationally." So I wonder if someone has hired them to help move people out? Or is KamAir getting their own people out.?

My assumption based on that would be that it will be used to assist evacuations. Who they are evacuating though is the question.

USAF KC-135 Stratotanker 61-0298 heading due east, north of Muscat at 29,000 feet, USAF KC-135 Stratotanker 60-0343 meeting it heading west at 34,000 feet.

They seem to turn on and off their ads-b directly north of Muscat.

The differences in altitude could mean the one heading back has delivered it's payload (fuel) above Afghanistan, and the other one is fully loaded.

Forgive me if not on topic, but it is regarding a charter airlift. A meme creator raised over $1M in 3 hours to charter planes to get people out of there. Quite amazing.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/flyaway-emer ... ue-mission

https://www.good.is/afghanistan-rescue-mission

It is impressive to see all these aircraft going in to get people out. So many people still there that need rescuing.

Saw on Al Jazeera arrival scenes at Kandahar. Looked like a Qatari C-17 A7-MAP. Yesterday it seems to have flown from Qatar to Kandahar, and then onwards to Kabul, before returning to Qatar.
