Interesting. Do you know more? Is it private charters or business charters? Who are they carrying? I am assuming it is MAA-ICN and an empty return? Or is it occupied both ways? Who needs a charter once a week?

No idea on the specifics, but there are a lot of Korean companies in and around Chennai who might need to move employees/cargo, with the absence of the usual one-stop options (BKK, KUL, HKG etc). Not sure if it's occupied on the ICN-MAA sector, might very well be.

Do you think they will get off the ground even? Or do they stand a chance?
How did they come up with the figure of 72? Do they know where they are going to operate?

I am part of a H1B/H4 Visa group on FB and someone had posted a very negative and quite frankly surprising review of AA. Apparently they flew SFO-JFK-DEL on AA and were told the flight was out of water (!?) about 4 hours before landing and were not served the last meal because per FA announcement "they ran out of time". I am a bit skeptical about this but multiple people in the replies have echoed similar or at least extremely negative feedback. So just thought I'd ask the question.
