AKASA AIR to Order 70 to 80 737-Max Planes at Dubai Air Show

Thu Nov 11, 2021 11:50 pm

AKASA is a brand new Indian airline.

Boeing is set to end Airbus dominance in Indian market. A promoter of the new airline is known for penny pinching and you can bet he is getting one heck of a deal.

The airline is backed by:

a) Rakesh Jhunjhunwala an Indian business magnate, stock trader and investor (estimated net worth of $6.1 billion as of October 2021 per wikipedia)

b) Aditya Ghosh, a former head of IndiGo, and

c) Vinay Dube, a Delta Air Lines Inc. veteran who also helped run Jet Airways ... illion-win ... 021-11-11/
