There's something more to see from Airbus, I think.
Anyone noticed the numbering from VW000 till VW020 went increasing by one? And now, we have VW023 variant, but no 021 and 022. Actually, in TCDS there are two blanks. Two more weight variants?
Anyone dares to take a guess?

According to Airbus figures at the end of November they had 24, 15 out of 25 new builds delivered plus the 9 used aircraft. To get to 44 they would need 10 more from lessors plus their 10 outstanding ordered new builds.

Those 10 from lessors you speak of are on order directly from Airbus, assumptions of LATAM orders. It just shows weird on Airbus’ spreadsheets but DL clearly shows 20 directly on order.

...and will they be the new 283T version - which should help finally cover any remaining shortfalls from the 77L retirements.

Yes indeed a good performance from Airbus this year and especially in December. Are these the final numbers for 2021 ?

No definite timeline has been given by Turkish Airlines.
