DL ordered 35 A330-900s; they have received 13 of them. MSN 1999 would make that 14, so 21 more to go.

Total should be 37

Two of those 37 are leased, not acquired from Airbus.

Where are they coming from then? Boeing? Embraer?

Do you really believe Boeing or Embraer is going to order an A330neo straight from Airbus???
OK, so, final tally is that DL will operate 37 A330-900s, 35 owned and 2 leased; 13 already delivered, 1 in delivery process; 23 more to go. Is that correct?

At which point Delta could operate 79 A330s.
Or are some of the -900s going to replace older frames?

Wouldn't be the 1st airline to operate that many aircraft type. IIRC, JAL had almost 100 x B747s and BA topped out at around 57 x B744s.
DL seems to like the A330

"Indonesia's Black Stone Airlines to add four A330neo" - a bit strange for a freight airline, but may work as a short term pfreighter.

Were you passing by TLS or did you see a photo somewhere?
For some reason I thought VS' A339s were due in 2024, but nice to see they're on the horizon.
