Do you know the line numbers for the other two, or any others?
Have they been returned for storage until Chinese deliveries start again?

8266 CZN is one of the other 2 returned. We are unclear what the 5th was. There is a a lot of speculation that they are being returned for storage or to get renumber to a later line number. We have seen other fuses arrive in Seattle over the last year and only to have them returned to Spirit. The examples of those are early LN 79xx block.
Below are the 100 frames from the 7900-8098 range that are missing and stored elsewhere . None of the have entered final assembly at Renton and most are in a unknown status as to their fate.

Good question. The military P-8s run so much ahead. Friday 8 april we saw LN 9257 for the US Navy/170015 already flying. Does that mean that all the earlier fuselage numbers, potentially about 1000, are already piling up at Spirit? Or is it just a paperwork issue that they allocated LN 9257 to a P-8 long before the production hick ups and grounding? I would expect that they would allocate the newest P-8s in a block, say LN9257-9285, as a way the civil production can catch up in the mean time.

I had
7907 msn 43569 for GOL as PR-XMS and that the fuselage was damaged but has been repaired and back in production
7921 msn 62887 for Smartwings as OK-SWV
7958 msn 62885 for Smartwings as OK-SWU
7964 msn 62886 for Smartwings as OK-SWX
I guess these should, at best, be considered as "paused" !
Probably many of them are among the fuselages illustrated in this article https://www.investing.com/news/stock-ma ... on-2045919 from a couple of years ago.
8058 is msn 62892 and is in service with Caribbean AL as 9Y-ANT

The 3 fuses for Smartwings have never arrived in Renton. As for 9Y-ANT, it is LN 8052 not 8058.

LN 7326 / MSN 43389
LN 8207 / MSN 43374
LN 7418 / MSN 43346
Of these two delivered to ASA and one delivered to ALC. It seems clear that ALC cancelled two frames and ASA picked them up. Does anyone know which are which?

AS is leasing 13 Maxes from ALC: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-alas ... SKBN2832B1
I’m not sure how many of those 13 have been delivered and what frames they are.

If I remember from last month the safety card just said "737." The monitors at the gate said "737 MAX 8" as the aircraft type so I don't think they are trying to hide it.

AA may be using the same safety card for the 738 and Max8, hence just generic “737” terminology (since they have no other 737 variants).

You can add N8754S under the MAX8s. I worked its first revenue flight PHX-SNA. The airplane looked new, had the new plane smell, and much to my sadness I even got to see the first "messy aisle." I also believe N8755 is also in revenue service.

Interesting, I wonder if this means Turkish intends to firm up the MAXes that it cancelled (as AnadoluJet is a Turkish Airlines sub).

Boeing’s biggest airline customer in China has removed more than 100 of the US manufacturer’s 737 MAX jets from its fleet plans, citing uncertainty over deliveries.
China Southern Airlines’ chairman Ma Xulun said at an investor briefing last week that Boeing’s updated bestselling aircraft would be excluded from fleet deliveries through 2024. The carrier expects to take delivery of 78 aircraft in total over the period, down from 181 in a previous forecast in March.
An investor relations representative for the airline said Friday the Max wasn’t included due to “uncertainty surrounding the delivery,” without providing further details.
The move is a sharp reversal for China Southern, which had outlined plans to rapidly expand its 737 MAX fleet, saying in its annual report in March that 39 were due to arrive this year, building toward a total of 103 deliveries through 2024. It’s a reminder of the uncertainty shrouding a key market for Boeing as it works to reap cash from more than 300 Max that were built but never delivered due to a global grounding.
Boeing referred queries to China Southern.

Of course makes it easier for Boeing, just 300 less frames to produce and a lot less headache. Who needs Chinese customers when you have UA/AA/AS/WN right?
