Cape Air is well known here in New England. Reliable local service with experienced pilots, lots of resources, and interline agreements with larger carriers. The Tecnam is a brand new aircraft…I’ve not flown aboard one yet, but from videos I’ve seen, it’s modern, spacious, and well designed. No doubt your new air service will be a solid product.

they have had a few glitches with the Tecnam but seem to have plenty of Cessnas for back up a/c

Cape Air is a step up IMHO. Well run and as the above poster noted they have plenty of backup planes in STL to keep the operations as smooth as possible. Flew them twice on both the Cessna and the Tecnam and all flights were on time.

Cape Air flyer from MWA, Marion, Illinois.

Agree with the others, GREAT Airline, great service.

You can book BRL-ORD/STL-XXX on AA.com Website and get AA Miles for the Cape Air flight (must be booked on American).

If you can get the Tecnam, SUPERB Plane, comfortable, leather seats, USB and Reading Lights!

Hopefully you'll be happier in BRL with Cape Air! :)

If you have youtube, watch Cape Air Tecanm Videos, very interesting!

I come sometimes to BRL to visit family there and I will happy to take the Tecnan and Cape Air, I used to love taking the Amtrak to Chicago, but the service is horrible, hardly ever on time and usually hours late, so it is difficult to arrange the flight after the train journey.

I have seen Cape air a few times in Boston, and one of my good friends used to work for them and was very happy, I think they also had for a while some services with ATR in Guam.

I think you will be happy with Cape Air. I have flown then a couple of times STL-MWA and the flights were superb. I have only flown on their Cessnas however. The last time I flew thru BRL was on a United Express (Great Lakes?) Beech 1900D. The routing was ORD-BRL-OTM and all but 3 passengers got off in Burlington before continuing on to Ottumwa. When I returned I was the only person on the OTM-BRL leg but the flight was full from Burlington to O'Hare where I connected to my 737-500 to GSO. This was late 90s I believe. Good memories.

Flew Cape Air a bit between BOS and PVC. They are a very good little airline with experienced crews. I have not flown on the Tecnam yet but I heard it is a pretty good aircraft and a step up from the C402's.
