A340 not showing on FR24
An all white A340 just flew over my house having departed from LHR around 13:30, at 6000ft heading southeast. I went to FR24 to check it out and it was nowhere on the map, I know aircraft can show up as blocked but this did not show up at all.

It depends on a mode S signal or mlat, if it wasn't broadcasting mode S the web trackers wouldn't know it was there, much like military using mode a/c only

Some aircraft don't show up at all. Very common for certain types of government operations.

There's a HiFly white tail contracted to the Australian Defence Force, could be that.

Perhaps you saw this flight. Took off from LHR at 12:25Z (13:30 BST) which matches your timeframe:

Coincidentally, there was another "white" A340 which was flying south of LHR 2 hours later (May 6th, 2022) in a southwest direction as MLT330M from HHN (Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, Germany) to BOH (Bournemouth, UK)

It has to be A7-AAH. It doesn't show up on FR24 anymore. Just like A7-HHK, the A342 and A7-HHH, the A345.
They were all previously visible on FR24, with their informations blocked, but now they're fully hidden.

I did read an article once which said that some Sheikh in the Middle East had a plane fly food from Harrods back home once a week. Perhaps it was QTR as they own the place.

This happens after they have a wash, when they get dirty they are easier to see without FR24.
Older A340s needed about 2.5 million each frame to rewire them to get ADS-B installed.
