34F, 270Y on both as far as I can tell. There is a possibility that the DC-10-30s had 265Y though. I never flew on those aircraft, only admired from a distance on an NW DC-10-30 my first visit to HNL in January 2003.

2-5-2

Iʻm hoping they go for 2-4-3 in the 787s.

Here is a video of the new arrival to the Hawaiian fleet replacing the Tri Star.

At around 2 minutes there is a scan of the seat plan. Hope that helps.

Hawaiian originally acquired DC-10-30s to operate LAX-PPT charter flights for Renaissance Cruises. These two aircraft, N140AA and N141AA featured the Renaissance logo on the #2 engine and were configured 84J/172Y. They were also used on scheduled flights, I flew one OGG-LAX and my seat ended up being one of the J seats but with regular Economy Class service.

When was HA’s final DC-10 service? Was it on the HNL-LAX route?

All of the DC-10-10s and two of the DC-10-30s were leased from American. Three additional DC-10-30s were leased from Continental and had a different livery (two had the 70th Anniversary titles, the third had the same basic livery but without the anniversary titles).
