However, the schedule does not provide many connection possibilities to other Vistara destinations, especially on the outbound leg to Mauritius. They might be constrained by slot availability at BOM. An afternoon departure from BOM (around 16 00) and a night departure from Mauritius, with an early arrival in Mumbai (around 5 30) might have been better for connection to other Indian cities and even DAC and KTM.
These timings are perfect - just in time for hotel check-in and check-out.
With the wedding season just getting over and the school summer vacations coming up, Vistara will get enough honeymooners and vacationers to fill up a A321 from Mumbai and just a couple of connecting flights.
The timing is perfect it corresponds to hotel checkin and out and isn't a red eye. i would pay a premium for this type of direct well timed flight whenever I would plan a vacation. Being A321LR, connections isn't something they will be too worried about. There is enough demand just from BOM for Mauritius, remember its a favorite destination for "financial tourism" for the rich and the mighty. I bet it will be upgraded to a premium wide body in a few years once they get enough of them.
