Flying a non-BSI 737 for me is now a big let down, especially on a longer flight. The bright, spacious, airy cabin makes a ton of a difference. The BSI has instantly turned the standard Boeing and Airbus cabins into 'old stuff', and has made these designs look really outdated overnight.
The MAX, with it's ultra quiet cabin, coupled to the BSI fittings, definitely makes for the best ride on a narrow body. I flew an almost 6-hr sector the other day on a MAX, and found it more pleasant and comfortable than the (equally new) A320neo I flew on the same airline, on the same sector, the week before. Although noise levels are almost equally good on the Neo (but not as quite!), I think that the BSI is a deal breaker for the MAX.
To put things into context, I am generally an Airbus fan!

Maybe we should admire the pitiful airflow from the gasper vents that comes standard on all BSI equipped NGs and MAXes.

The upward sweep of the bins is an enormous visual boost that makes the cabin feel more spacious. The lighting is also much nicer on the BSI. Boeing has a great many faults, but they are exceedingly good at interiors.
