This may seem like a really spicy take here, but there is a VERY small chance that this could work, and if there’s any brits that want to correct me here, please do. But I have heard that people in the UK hate BA with a passion, and Virgin still charges an arm and a leg, although the experience is 10x better than what BA has.
It almost seems like they’re advertising to be like starlux (which from what I’ve seen on YouTube, is one of the coolest airlines in the world at the moment). The thing that determines this working is if they went all Business and/or first class and charged an arm and a leg for it. As mentioned earlier, if people are as fed up as I understand with the airlines in the UK, this could (very clim chance) work.
Most people aren't feed up with BA, I will admit a few are though. People in the UK are more p!$$ed with Virgin over it's actions during the covid lockdowns.
People from the UK just want cheap flights and if these are cheap enough people will book them regardless of them operating only 1 aircraft.
