SAS has 50% discounts on tickets booked today to the whole SAS route network. Unfortunately this is only possible from Sweden

I fly Star Alliance all over the wrold. Take a few round the world trips a year. Overall it is great! Nothing like getting on Singapore Airlines. British Midland in Europe is terrific. Lufthansa is very reliable. I do miss Ansett. The use of their clubs is wonderful. They have come a long way. There were problems of obtaining boarding passes at first but that seems cleared up. They are still not on the same comouter system which is a weakness. If you book a trip on them one airline can not print out a total itinerary for all the flights. You can not book seats at res on the other airlines, you have to call each airline and get seats. They have to get hooked up in Australia.

However overall I am very pleased with them. Booking one ticket and getting one fare is a great advantage.

(funny not ? - but of course not the same year)

STAR ALLIANCE is the greatest alliance ever(so far)
things are so much better now,checking in and getting seats.
