Lufthansa Vs Varig: Wich One Is The Best?

Hi gentlemen,

Classical topic but:

I will fly from Germany to Sao Paulo this week-end. I still didn't buy my ticket. My trip will be in Business class. Both flight land around the same time. leave staurday and back tuesday (a short business trip!)

Wich one is the best: LH or Varig?

If you didn't already purchase your ticket you'll end up on LH as the RG flight is already full in Business on Friday thru Sunday according to Amadeus .

Lufthansa or Varig? The best is Singapore Airlines  Wink/being sarcastic
I would take Varig on your return flight and Lufthansa on your way to Germany. It's the same price...

Hi,

I would fly VARIG. I've flown both and liked Varig better.
The service is great(the meals are exellent) and the seats are very comfortable.
But as Lj said I would buy the ticket soon because the times I've flown this route with Varig it was always
completely full and some passengers couldn't travel.

I have flown both, and both are very good. I think it is a great suggestion to fly one in each direction, and let us know! Since they are both in Star Alliance you will not lose out on mileage. Give us a report in here when you get back.

I would fly VARIG. I've flown VARIG on this same rote (extended to Rio de Janeiro) and it was fantastic!

Why not fly both? Take Varig to Germany and Lufthansa on your way back home.
