Frontier Flying A319's Into SJC Now?

Sun Oct 13, 2002 5:16 pm

Heard from an F9 employee today at the SEA airliner show that F9 was going to start flying the A319 into SJC. Sure enough, as I landed at about 8:30pm, an F9 A319 departed...any info?

I thought the 319s were starting out of SJC on Oct 22. So this may have been a charter, proving run, or maybe it was an early start.

According to F9's website, there are currently flights coming in from DEN with 319 as the eqp...explain that?

Checking the F9 website schedule today (Monday Oct 14) shows RJs to SJC. I'm not sure where you saw 319 listed as the equipment.

Nate,

Interesting about WorldSpan. Both OAG's and Skyguide's websites, Frontier's own website, and I'm told Sabre all show the route as RJs for another week or so, until Oct 22.

I was thinking about being in SJC in the next few days but didn't want to stop by the airport unless F9 had started the 319. Now I'm not sure which info is correct. Any SJC spotters seen the 319 today?
