PIA Order On Boeing Website?

Does anybody know why Boeing has not posted or said anything about the recent Pakistan International Airlines order for 777's? I was looking at there press releases and there isn't nothing.

Isn't this order confirmed and isn't this big news for Boeing and the future of the 777LR and 777-300ER program.

Also will PIA be called the launch customer for the 777-200LR now since EVA Airways will most likely delay the delivery!

PK never announced when it actually plans to take delivery of its 772LRs... only that it will receive the first of its 772ERs in 2004. The -LRs wouldnt even be available for another year, and probably wouldnt be in service 'till 2006 at the earliest.

It's now official at the Boeing website, the deal was formalized today nov 14.

Boeing published an image of the PIA 777, but on old scheme. I prepared this one, already with the n/c
