The majority of airlines with widebodies operate them to LAX.

UA has a substantial hubbing operation there, therefore you can see all of UA's widebodies.

NW does NOT fly the 744 to LAX. Also Alitalia doesn't fly to LAX at all currently. LAX is probably the best airport in the US to see a great variety of widebodiy aircraft. The777Man
Boeing 777s flown: UA, TG, KE, BA, CX, NH, JD, JL, CZ, SQ, EK, NG, CO, AF, SV, KU, DL, AA, MH, OZ, CA, MS, SU, LY, RG, PE, AZ, KL, VN, PK, EY, NZ, AM, BR, AC, DT, UU, OS, AI, 9W, KQ, QR, VA, JJ, ET, TK, PR, BG, T5, CI, MU and LX.. Further to fly.. LH 777

I saw an old colors Delta MD-11 when I was at LAX in November.

Egypt Air does not fly to LAX anymore.

CO does indeed have a 764 flight into LAX.

Varig flys 2 MD-11's a day there.

Air New Zealand has 747 and 767 service to LAX.

One time for Shits and giggles when I had plenty of time on my hands I went thru Flytecomm.com and went thru all of the domestic flights to see who flew widebodies to LAX. This was about a month ago.

I saw that AA operated the 762, 763 and 772. AA flies several 762s to JFK from LAX
CO- 762, 764 and 772. The 764 was flying from EWR that day, the 762 and 772 from IAH
DL- 763, 764, 772 no MD-11 that day
NW- 742 and 744 (they used a 744 to NRT that day) NO DC-10... all domestic DC-10s are retired
UA- 762, 763, 744, 772

Then all kinds of widebodies were used for the U.S. freight companies too if you were interested in that

Fed Ex- DC-10, MD11, A300, A310
UPS- A300, 763
DHL- A300
Airborne Express 762
Atlas- 744, 742
Polar 742, 744
Evergreen 742
Kalitta 742
Gemini MD-11
World MD-11

I don't think USAirways sends 762s anymore. They did back when I was out there in 1999. But the day that I checked on flytecomm.com the largest they were sending was an A321
