To all:

I am currently building an MD82 kit and want to use a set of Brazilian decals
which I bought that contain markings for a BalairCTA ship. The wings appear to be yellow. Unfortunately, the instructions do not contain a planform view which would tell me the extent of the yellow. I searched the photo index and have seen lots of great shots, but none which actually show the entire wing plan.

Can anyone help?

go to the mainpage of airliners.net and then go to aviation picture search engine, there under airlines look for balair and you will find what you are looking for...

The entire wing, top and bottom all the way to the fuselage connection was yellow. leading edge was still silver though.

Thanks for the info. I finally found a photo of a BalairCTA A310 which indeed shows the wing to be ALL yellow w/ silver leading edges. Amazing that they would do that as it had to be expensive to maintain. Apparantly they had less issue with painting yellow than I do...thinning, sanding, touch-up, ugh.

BTW, I like the list of a/c you've flown in that's contained in your profile. I should do the same someday. The list would be rather less modern (Convair 440/580, DC8, BAC1-11, ect).
