UA F/a Callback?

Sat May 10, 2003 12:48 am

Is there truth to the rumour that UA will be calling back some cabincrew due to retirement offered? I saw a bit on this earlier but nothing so far said. Maybe they are doing better now and require more staffing?

I was told that 3000 flight attendants should be leaving by June 30th. That is when the new bennies take affect. We are already doing the wage concessions but the new contracts go into affect on the 1 July.

Llike medical coverage is better now than what it will be so people are getting out to avoid paying the higher costs. Plus it will be good to get rid of these older people.
United has got to have the oldest women flying today.

Just like the British Airways commercial goes... "If you want to fly to see Grandma, fly British Airways. If you want your grandma on your flight, Fly the tulip."
