What city would have the most type of one aircraft at it at a time.
I think the DC-10 capital would be HNL
Any thoughts?

I agree with you on the HNL thing - a lot of 10s there! Another one I would guess would be DFW for the MD-80.

Chicago is definitely the 777 hub, with UA and AA both centreing their 777 services there.

Cincinnati and Orlando have to be the capitals for Canadair Regional Jet activity. New York, London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokio all have plenty of B747 services. Atlanta should be the capital of the remaining L1011s flying around.

A major 737 capital would have to be Houston (IAH) with Continental; and Chicago (ORD) with United and American 738's.
A city with plenty of 737 action would be Indianapolis. Airlines that fly 737's to IND: USAirways, United, Continental, Southwest, Delta, America West, and PROAIR.

Well MIA takes the cake for 727's!
American bases its carribbean ops with 727's at MIA, quite a few of them.
Delta usually has a 727 at the gate,
Continental use to have 727's to IAH (;-( used to fly those alot!!

Zurich is the MD-11 capital. Because swissair (the worlds largest passenger Md-11 operator) is based there. Also thai, city bird, LTU and sometimes delta operate md-11s into Zurich.

Another 737 capital is SEA. Ailines flying 737's in and out of SEA include Southwest, Alaska, United, Suttle by United, Continental (now with transcon 738's), America West, US Airways (though the last two have been flying more of their A319/320's to SEA recently).

The 777 capital is Bangkok since 11 out of 23 carriers fly there. At present, Tokyo-Narita is second with 9 different carriers. The 747 capital of the world is actually Los Angeles since we have 23 different passenger carriers. Los Angeles have also been considered the MD-11 capital of the world with MD-11s from Varig, Japan Airlines, Delta Airlins, Swissair, Alitalia, Martinair and World. We also used to get Garuda, LTU and VASP MD-11s. The777Man
