it's part loads, part frequency. Right now
MKE (atleast from
AA's stand point) isn't producing enough of a load factor to require a mainline A/C. To
DFW the loads are actually pretty dismal from what I've heard and seen, it's already been downgraded from a CRJ 700 to a EMB 145. At the rate it's going, the brain trust in Dallas might just be thinking of doing to the
MKE-
DFW flights what they did to the
MSN-
DFW flight, pull the plug. I mean almost all the places served out of
DFW are served out of
ORD and it's a 2 hour shorter flight. Plus with the all out brawl heating up with Midwest, Northwest, and Airtran over the hearts and mind of Milwakee's flying public I really doubt tht
UA or
AA want to get into that mess.
