Changing My Seats On A United Reservation.

Thu Jun 12, 2003 3:54 am

I recently purchased United tickets thru Travelocity.com. When the seat map came up, there were only 5 seats left on the entire plane (this was about 3 weeks ago). I'm traveling in July. I was wondering, in the case of these discount sites, if United itself only allows a certain amount of seats for these sites to sell, while United keeps some to themself to sell? The reason I ask is because my friend and I kinda got stuck in the middle row of 5, smack in the middle.  Smile If I call United, would they have more seats to choose from than Travelocity did? Thanks for any info!

SJCguy  Big thumbs up

Seat availabilities are constantly changing... give United a call. If nothing is available keep calling them back at a later date.

No, Travelocity will show you all the seats that are available to you. Don't bother calling UAL. Just keep checking the Travelocity seat map.

I told you, give me your conf. # and I'll get you good seats.
I don't want your social security number, it is only a conf. #

For some reason, and seeing your reputation on this website, I'd say SJCguy would be somewhat foolish to supply his confirmation number in fear you would delete his entire reservation.  Insane

Hey UAL 777...I sure hope SJCguy recieves more respect on his long haul flight than you provide for us on this forum. You really give your airline a bad name, and that's probably the last thing you want to be doing right now seeing that you may not have a job in the near future. Kiss SJCguy's feet for purchasing a ticket and not non-reving, you guys can use every dollar you recieve. What do you do anyway for UA, lav dumper or somthing?

seanwdc10,
are you trying to hurt my feelings?
United will be just fine, and I don't kiss any feet.
don't start stooping sea dc10.

dumping lavs in most cities is a very senior position so that really wasn't that funny. dumping lavs gets you out of offloading a plane and most senior guys would rather do a 5 minute job than a 30 minute turn, and you do what for NW?

You're missing mine, and usually everybody's point. You have a bad reputation on here, and are asking for SJCguy's reservation number. Are you ok upstairs?

I'm an Operations Supervisor at SFO. Senior or not, dumping lavs is disgusting, thanks.

And yes, I do hope United will be just fine. I just don't care for you.
