Out of all of them, I would suggest that it would be Alaska, since all of theirs are Combi's and there are no substuites for that aircraft configuration.

I think Frontier still has a couple. Delta still has them. Aviacasa flys them to LAS. Casino Express and Sierra fly them on charters.

Southwest and Frontier both operate the type. F9 will be retiring theirs soon. Does anyone know when WN's 732s will be retired?

Most operators have been mentioned, but this should be a complete listing:

Alaska, Aloha, America West, Casino Express, Delta, Frontier, Pace/Hooters, Ryan International-Trans Global Vacations-Apple Vacations, Southwest.

I'll never forget the first time I flew on a 737-200 flight. It was on WN from LBB to DAL and I sat right by the engine/wing. When we landed in DAL, I about freaked-out when the reverse thrusters came on!! I was only 15 years old and I thought the engine was falling apart.

Years later, when I was single, my girlfriend at the time and I went to Hawaii. We flew from HNL to OGG on AQ and I told her to watch the engine. I warned her about it though but it still can be a wild scene if you've never seen it before or not used to it.

I still fly those 200 series aircraft between DAL and IAH now. Another interesting item about the 200 series aircraft are all the rivets along the side of the aircraft and on the top of the aircraft, commonly referred to as the "Aloha patch" since AQ lost a top of one of their aircraft a few years ago. All 200 series had to be re-inforced after that.

I flew on a Aloha 732 last month. Out of all of the 732s out there, HOOTERS is my favorite.

Yet another classic airliner destined for the bone yard. It is one of my favorites still along with the 727 and the dc10.

As a sidenote to those here at TInker the Navy flies 2 737-200 series for E-6 pilot seasoning (they are leased Civ. s and regs.). And in the USAF we have T-43s at Randolph in San Antonio.

I think the only airlines that still flies the 737-200 to SFO are AC and HP. And even then, HP flies mostly A320 Family planes to SFO from PHX and LAS.

Delta CVG-MSY: 4 out of the 5 nonstop flights are flown with 737-200's.

It's great to see those planes chugging around here again, I was getting tired of all those damn MD-88's.

Southwest still brings quite a few -200's into MSY on a daily basis, mostly operating the DAL flights...a few also fly to HOU and BHM, and one late night 9:00pm flight to MCO. I'd say probably 13 a day give or take a couple.

Delta Express flies a bunch into MCO from various locations before they all get put back into Delta Mainline and the Song 757s take over those routes.
