What Airline Do You Work For?

Sun Jul 13, 2003 6:44 am

I'm sure this topic has come up at least once before. (Sue me for being new)
But I am curious as to what airline everyone works for.

1. What airline? (Commercial/Charter/Cargo)
2. How many airlines? (Name them)
3. How many years in the industry? (Include all airlines)
4. What's you current position?
5. What city?

As for me......

1. JetBlue Airways
2. 6.... Eastwind, Trans States, Business Express, American, AirTran, JetBlue
3. 5 yrs
4. Ground Operations
5. ROC

1. Frontier Airlines
2. 3...Vanguard, Northwest, Frontier
3. 2 years and one month
4. Customer Service
5. MSY

I'll say without a doubt, Frontier puts NW and NJ to shame in just about every area I can think. Not even close really.

1. Don't want to give out specific name, but it is a Part 135 on demmand carrier

2. 3 This one, Reeve Aleutian Airways and Alaska Airlines. When I was in the US Army I also was in HHC 11 AVN Regt out of Illesheim Germany and HHC 4/159 AVN regt out of Stuttgart Army Airfeild. Do those count?

3. Well, I guess we can say 7 years now plus two years in those Army Aviation units. I also spent 2 years working as an FAA Test Administrator giving the FAA writens at the University of North Dakota when I was going to school there. Don't write a lot into that, it was a student job. Big grin

4. I am currently working as an unlicensed dispatcher or flight follower if you prefer. One of these days I should go down to St. Louis and get legal.

5. Work out of Anchorage, (ANC, PANC) Alaska.
