Try using http://gc.kls2.com/ to calculate the proper distances of your flights, and not only flying time.

My shortest international flights (all under 1,000km):

TGU-SAL: 210 km (Tegucigalpa, Honduras to San Salvador, El Salvador)
AEP-MVD: 221 km (Aeroparque, Buenos Aires to Montevideo, Uruguay)
LHR-CDG: 348 km
LHR-AMS: 371 km
SAL-RTB: 423 km (RTB=Roatán, Honduras)
SAL-BZE: 460 km (BZE= Belize City)
UIO-BOG: 721 km
CUN-MIA: 855 km

MSP-YQT on the Mesaba Saab 340A. Flight time approx 60 mins. The Saab rides rather low and the MSP-YQT leg traces the north shore of Lake Superior, which is some of the finest scenery in Minnesota. On the way back you get to see the same view and overfly Lake Mille Lacs as well.

My shortest international flights have been Port of Spain - Barbados (35 minutes) on 4 occasions using BW TriStars and MD83s. I have flown the route in BW Dash 8's in which the flying time was 55 minutes and with LIAT, which stretched the journey to over two hours with intermediate stops (northwards POS-TAB-GND-BGI, back BGI-SVD-GND-POS). Also in the league is Port of Spain - Porlamar, Venezuela, also of 35 minutes duration on Aeropostal DC9s. I flew this route once in each direction in 1987. CWL-DUB beckons soon.

Ams:
12 minutes is really short!!! WOW!!! So, basically, you took off for a little while, long enough so you could see that you were ascending..then you started descending immediately??? - that's my guess....did they serve and drinks or allow usage of the bathroom on this flight? lol

From BUF to YYZ in a Mohawk BAC-111 in 1967. About 20-25 minutes. Probably only about 10-15 minutes actually airborne for the 58 nm distance between airports.

I guess I´m the winner here.
I flew the apr. 50 miles from Tallin (Estonia) to Helsinki (Finnland
with an ATR-72 from Finnair. The flight took only some 10 minutes.
Even a candybar and a drink was served (!!!!!!), thats more than you can expect of an American Airlines First Class flight within the US  Smile !

This might be the one to beat

Flight : LI183 (I think) - Operated for LIAT by Airlines of Carriacou
Date: February 1999
From: Union Island (UNI), St.Vincent & The Grenadines
To : Carriacou (CRU), Grenada
Acft : BN Islander

Distance (Ticketed Point Mileage) : 9 miles
Flying time : 5 minutes

I turned up at Union Island airport an hour before departure, like a good citizen, to be told by the check-in lady "Oh, you're here - we can go now" - I was the only pax on board - I got to sit next to the driver, it was great.

Customs and Immigration procedures at Lauriston Airport, Carriacou took longer than the flight - the customs guy insisted on opening my bag, because I was the only person he'd see all day.

The shortest jet sector I did was Zanzibar (ZNZ) to Dar Es Salaam (DAR), on a Gulf Air 767-300 - flying time 12 minutes, distance 46 miles.

Here comes another one:

I flew some years ago from Congo-Brazaville to Kinshasa with Sabena's 747. Flight time is 7 minutes, just crossing the Congo River.

This one is quite short, too: Luxair from Luxembourg to Saarbruecken. They fly this route 4 times a day, then going on to Munich. In the air for about 10 mins. Distance approx. 48 naut. miles

The shortest international flight I've experienced was TPE to HKG in 1970--the flight lasted about 80 minutes on a CI 727-200.

I'm not sure if Penang to Singapore on a CX 707-320B was shorter, though.
