I flew a lot of 200's during my childhood holidays around the med. they where basically standard equiptment for charter airlines back then. The A320 of the day I suppose. However it was my first ride in the new generation 400 that I liked best.
This occured in November 1993 when I flew
MAN-
TFS on a Futura 737-400
EC-FLD. I liked the less stumpy appearance, and aslo the double overwing exits, which somehow make it look a little more superior. The only other one I have flown was
BA's G-GBTA. Now even the 400's are outdated.
Of the next generation I have flown
MME-
ACE on Futura 737-800
EC-HHH and also
EDI-
TFS on Air Europa 737-800
EC-HZS, with winglets. I like the new cabin interiors but I will always remember the first 400 I flew in.
