Mikephotos-
Keep up the good work; your planes all look so awesome and lifelike! About your instruction page (the one that tells us how to make them), do you think you could add a little more detail to your explanation? I have Adobe Photoshop 7; will that work? Maybe I'm just not too familiar with how to use Photoshop. Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm using Photoshop 6.0 to make my stuff...and its about the same as 7.0. The most useful tools are the poly-lasso tool, its the triangle thing on the second from top, left row. I think you have to hold the mouse before you can see it. I add a layer and select 'Multiply', which blends the colors you insert with the background. The paintbucket and Clone tool (stamp thing) are useful too.

N243NW,

Photoshop would work just fine, however I'm more used to using PaintShopPro so can't give you tips on Photoshop. I use a lot of cut-and-paste, brightness control and smudge tool. Basically just cut parts from one photo to another and "blend" it al in...I know it's hard but its even more difficult explaining it.

Here's one I just finished:

How about doing one of the following:

An Air Canada DC-8 in the present-day livery
An Air Canada 707 and/or 732 in the old red livery
A Delta widget livery on either a Dash 8 or ATR 42.

By the way, this is my 1,000th post. Yeah me (lol).

One day I was looking at fine photos of the Concorde.
And I was thinking Concorde. Mach. Concorde. Mach. It really slices the air.
And it hit me ...

http://bottum.home.mindspring.com/fantasy/GilletteMach3Concorde.jpg

My apologies if it doesn't belong in this forum, but I couldn't resist.
I'll understand if it needs removal.
And pardon the quality, I have only MS Paint.

My heartfelt thanks to airliners.net photographer Alexander Gill for his permission to use his photo.

My short collection, now 3.
