Farnborough Air Show 2004

Sat Sep 06, 2003 11:23 am

Hello,

As some or most of you know, the world-famous air show held bi-annually outside London is going to be held July 19/20-25th, 2004. Given it's reputation and popularity, and the fact I'm a commerical aviation nut, I'm planning a vacation now to coincide with the airshow. Luckily enough for me, I have relatives who live near Guildford, which is a stone's throw from where it's held.

I was disappointed to learn that the only days the public can go through next year are the last two days.

My question is this: Is it worth the time to spend the two full available days there, or could I see the exhibits relating to commercial aviation and the airshow in just one day?

Thanks in advance!

Don't miss it for the world. Both public days are a must. However even better would be if you could manage an official pass for the non-public days and one for the public days. The info you could gather during the official days are much more than on the public days by which time they are closing shop.

I will be there too on at least two official dates and definitely the public days.
