Las Vegas--is There A Master Plan Web Site?

Fri Sep 12, 2003 5:30 am

I have checked the airport web site and found a little info on the master plan.

But is there a web site devoted to the topic.

Can anyone share with me any info they have about addittional terminal development and specifically, Terminal 3 (where will it be located in relation to terminal D)?

I found a draft environmental assessment for Terminal 3. http://www.ricondoprojects.com/las/draftt3ea.pdf

The McCarran web page also has information about the new consolidated rental car facility. http://www.mccarran.com/04_05_CurProjects.asp

Funny how if you say something bad about an airline that's in distress, you get flamed with 50 responses in one day. But if you ask an academic question, nobody here replies.

Well hey, Mr SouthWest Fan, thanks for your response  Smile

That terminal 3 thing is what I was wondering about. Do you know where it is going to be in relation to the other terminals. By the looks of a map contained in the report it seems it would be in the same space occupied by the new terminal D.

I just don't get it. I wish the map was better.

Well with Terminal D being rather new, it doesn't make any sense to have it there. I'm not sure either.

I would suggest the Las Vegas Review-Journal web page, but it's very weak. I'm not sure what other resources you could use.

Good luck. I've enjoyed watching LAS grow over the years, and undoubtedly more improvements are on the way.

If you find any information about the airport vis-a-vis the monorail, please let me know... I don't want to bother with the whole .pdf if it's not in there...
