Airline That You've Flown The Most

Wed Sep 17, 2003 11:32 am

Which airline have you flown the most flights on? What portion of your total flights are these?

For me, it is hands down Delta. I have been from the eastern United States to California 19 times and all but two roundtrips were on Delta. Almost all of my flying in the eastern United States has been on Delta, except for a few American flights, a Pan Am flight and a Piedmont flight a long time ago, and two AirTran flights. Of the eight transatlantic flights I've flown, five have been on Delta. The other three, plus three intra-European flights have been on Swissair and British Airways. As you can see, Delta is the main airline I've flown on. How about you?

UNITED AIRLINES!!!!! Hands down...

My dad worked for UA, so that explains 99% of it. Those benefits ended at 23, but I of course continue to fly with them, 99.9% of the time, unless it's for work or I'm going to a place UA doesn't fly. Even then, it's through a partner of theirs.

UNITED **WILL** STAND!
And the winner for best actress is....REESE WITHERSPOON for 'Walk the Line'!!!!!!!!

I have flown over 1.5 million miles (all non-rev) on Air India over the past 25+ years and continue to add to that.

This year, I've got about 120k paid miles on Singapore Airlines and about 25k paid miles on KLM, in addition to another 30-40k paid miles on assorted other airlines.

Northwest Airlines.

I've got 1,013,423 total miles in their frequent flyer program (called Worldperks) with some transferred in from partners KLM, Alaska, Horizon, and Continental.

UNFORTUNANTLY,
my travel plans usually take FLL-ATL/LGAand ATL-LGA, so I usually fly DL... Other DL routes I've flown are FLL-DFW-LAS, SFO-DFW-FLL. I've only flown other airlines 2-3 times... AA, Panam (1), and FL 1X
NEXT FLIGHT: FLL-ATL-HPN on FL

For me it would either have to be America West, Southwest, or Northwest(in that order). Since im always going MCI-PHX or MCI-DTW and back because most of family lives around PHX and DTW.

I think mine would be United Airlines. Northwest would be second, since they're the home town airline (MSP).

Aloha hands down. Well over half my flights are interisland or Trans-pac on Aloha. After that, I'd say Delta because my friend gives me buddy passes!!

Well..it used to be TWA until they left STL so...Second would be Delta Airline sis the airlien I have flown the most flights wioth, 4 on Delta Express and 2 on Mainline. Southwest will be the second, and AA last. The only other airlien I flew was AWA.

So..

DL
WN
AA in that order
so its usually what I look for tickets as well, look on delta, then WN, and latly AA.

America West -- a gazillion times

Continental -- not often enough

Northwest -- its been a while, but several times

Delta -- a few...and it was great

USAir -- a few times....years ago

PSA -- a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away (my favorite of course)

United -- once, nothing to write home about

American -- never did, never will

TWA -- wish I had

Southwest -- I still have the scars from the cattle prod (it was free ok??)

I'll chime in here for AA.

About 450,000 miles to date. Not a huge accomplishment, but quite a bit nonetheless. I flew them a TON back in highschool as my horse trainer was in Vermont and I lived in OKC. Went up and back every month, not to mention all the horse shows on the East Coast I attended during show season. I also flew them a lot when I went to school at Boston University, after I found out I could fly most of the way home on a widebody. Also, most of my European trips and one of my Asian trips have been on AA.

Second would have to be UA. I've flown them twice to Asia both times to HKG, and once home from studying in Beijing. Also, they were my first flight on a 747 to HKG.

Third would have to be DL. Flew them some when I went to Boston U.

2.8 million miles Air NZ (including Eagle, Air Nelson, MCA))
1.3 million miles United (including ACA, Great Lakes)
0.8 million miles BA (including CityFlyer, DeutschBA)
0.6 million miles QANTAS (including QANTAS NZ, JetConnect)

This does not include miles on predecessors (NZNAC, TEAL, BEA, BOAC) - about another 0.5 million miles between them

I'd have to say either the old Frontier, or Western as I used to do a lot of
DEN-PHX-DEN trips, and COS-DEN-ABQ-PHX-DEN-COS trips about 20 years ago.

It really depends on the counting method.

In terms of my actually flown mileage, either Air France, Delta Airlines or Continental should be the most frequented airline.
I am flying Air France frequently on short and medium haul routes within Europe, and sometimes on long-haul.
I have also accrued a lot of mileage on DL and CO not due to the frequency of travel, but because of the actual stage lengths of the flights.

In terms of frequency, either AF or LH should be the winner. I am flying LH purely on domestic routes, so the mileage is far smaller than the importance in terms of number of flights.

Iberia (and its subsidiaries or franchises) is my most flown airline, around 100K miles.
DL comes second, around 25 K. And then there is a bunch of airlines where I have flown around 10K : AA, KL, CO, Singapore, LH.

For me it would be US. I used to fly 4 segments a week for over 2 years on them. SDF - (PIT,CLT,DCA,PHL) - EWR. This was for a special assignment at my work place. I did two of them within 4 years - one was 1.5 years and the other was 9 months.

I had tons of miles and used many of them on BA for ClubWorld tickets.

Even if I was avoiding them most of the 90s, because of their bad quality, the airline I've flown the most is AF. And it is with great pleasure I use them more and more. The improvement in the past 6 years is tremendous !!!
I used them from Paris to TLS, BIQ, BOM, FRA, BSL, LIN, TLV, SVO, DXB, DUB.

Other airlines I used quited often and with pleasure: BA, Buzz, EK, SR

Until now I have made 267 flights(many multi-sector). Of those:

36 on KLM
24 on United (plus 4 next month)
19 on Delta
14 on Air France and Lufthansa

I really could not tell the mileage, never keep track of that.
