First Class

What is your favorite airline's Business / First Class service?

Mine, (altho I admit that I am partial) is Delta & BusinessElite - the service was exquisite and the seats were incredibly comfortable. For all that however, I have not flown many other First Classes.

Please reply with your opinions!

Hi DLMD-11

well, i didn't fly too often in F/CL. either ( 5 Airlines) i liked EK the best. It was a flight from Damascus to Dubai on a A310-300, though the seat was a bit too narrow for my liking,

from what i heard, SIA's First Class must be one of the best!

As for Business class , in my opinion, Lufthansa, Emirates. I had one very impressive flight with British Mediterranean (A320) which- at that time were is a tiny airline serving some middleeast destinations (Beirut, Damascus, Amman and Alexandria) for British Airways. I have never seen such an exclusive Buiness class on board a nerrowbody jet before! 4 abreast seating, huge leg room, and top cusine.

Yup ...first class will always be better than coach... I've flown different airlines on first and all have been excellent: Pan Am (747), Aerolineas Argentinas (A340), Air France (747), VARIG (DC10), Lan Chile (767), Iberia (747), Japan Airlines (747). The best ever I'd have to say was Swissair...treated like a KING loved it.

Can't comment on Emirates or SIA because I've never had the pleasure but always hear positive things about them...will have to try.

Also I've flown in Businnes and First of American on domestic flights and well don't have much to say about that except it was just ok.

Was on an Upper Class (upgrade, of course   VS flight to Johannesburg (744 as opposed to the usual A340). Very good indeed. I was to embarrassed to ask for a massage, my mother went straight for it though. It's done in a small enclosed cabin adjacent the toilette. The bar faces outwards towards the nose, from the forward Upper class bulkhead-unfortunately it closed twice because of excessive turb. over the damned Atlas Mountains-oh well, only two rounds of Guiness that night ;(
