The 747 - BA's New Flagship Aircraft?

I just went to the BA website and noticed this in place of what has been an image of Concorde for a while:



So is the 747 now their flagship aircraft? The whole flagship thing was mentioned on TV this morning, but Rod Eddington mentioned both the 747, 777 and others and didn't actually say what their flagship aircraft would now be.

No, then there's the Jetstreams and ATP's with BA.
But yes, the 744 will now become the flagship plane.

Now BA HAVE to get some A380's - can't be stuck with just last-generation equipment ! Otherwise Branson's going to go nuts

A340-600 - "Mines longer than yours"
A340-500 - "Mines faster than yours"
A380- "Mines WAY bigger than yours"

Virgin doesnt operate the A345... an aircraft, which by the way, is slower than both BA's 744s and 772ERs
