On a recent trip, I noticed Mr. Travolta's 707 at the field where I landed; upon our return to fly home three days later, his Gulfstream was at the FBO, pretty much next to the 182 we were flying. I immediately recognized it as such, and told some acquaintances who were also departing from the same FBO. Teen-aged daughter excitedly asked the counter attendant if it was really
JT's jet, and she politely responded that she could not discuss clients' personal information (with a wink-wink and a grin).
She did say that the owner of that plane was a very nice man, and that he was personable with everyone at the shop.
If I had not been so busy checking weather and filing my IFR flight plan, I might have though to take a picture of my plane with his. Oh well.
