Where Do You Plan To Fly In 2004?

Tue Jan 06, 2004 12:35 am

Where do you plan to fly to in 2004 and why?

I plan to go to many places including: Chicago, Sydney, Coasta Rica, Toronto, Dublin, and CDG just to name a few of them.

All of those are great places to visit and most of them I have never been to before. Where do you plan to go in 2004?

in late May/Early June. Possibly MHT-SFO later in the summer.

  • End of this month I am going on a short USA trip (DUS-EWR/LGA-MDW/ORD-DUS)

  • In the summer I want to fly to Tegucigalpa/Honduras to visit fellow a.net member Airsicknessbag when he will work for the local German embassy for a few month

  • Today I was really happy when I got an invitation to BOM from fellow a.net member B747-437B, I was always interested to visit India

  • I really hope that I can realize the trips to TGU and BOM!

    Paris and London this week.

    Then:
London monthly (for work). Although this may change to Amsterdam.
Singapore every five weeks (for work).
New Orleans about weekly..just day trips.
New York about every six weeks coinciding with a London trip.
    Sao Paulo...quarterly.
China..new destination for me..not sure where (some damn shipyard)

Probably about 400,000K miles this year....which sucks.

    Hi!

Well, I'm going to CDG, Paris in February on Lufthansa
Then, if everything goes according to plan, I'll be flying to Tokyo - Narita and later to Bankgok, back to Narita and JFK, on JAL in June/July (Flying to Bangkok from Osaka's Kansai, something I always wanted to do since I've seen the airport on Discovery)
Following, right after returning from Japan and Thailand, I'll fly to Krakow, via Prague, with CSA.
Lastly, depending on certain conditions, I might be off to Germany in the fall.

That's about it for 2004, at leats that's what I have planned for now.

Most likely quite a few trips between to TPA as I look into relocating to the area. Then I have a wedding or two to go to around Chicago this summer, so the usual ORD/MDW flights. Hopefully MUC for Oktoberfest, other than that no where else in particular.  Sad

So far my travel plans for 2004 include:

    Belfast - work (next week)
    Manchester - pleasure (week after)
Frankfurt - work (end of January)
    Amsterdam - pleasure (February)
    Edinburgh - work (February)
    New York - work (February)
    Hong Kong - work (March)
    Sydney - pleasure (April)

.. and that's all I have planned so far, but a quarterly work trip to Edinburgh, and no doubt a pleasure trip weekend to the Canary Islands are for certain. Other than that work takes me to Glasgow, Belfast & Manchester. The rest of the year, I'll go with the flow!  Smile

Might I ask what some of your jobs are? Usairwys757, you named 6 destinations which are around the globe and you are a 21-25 year old college student. I'd find it hard to think those are for business so that is a lot of expensive travel. But not only Usairwys757 there are others who list tons of cities for world wide vacation that aren't business. I just find it amazing to see college kids with a couple grand to drop on major travel.

For spring quarter studies abroad in Mandarin and international business:

    PDX-SFO-ICN-PVG on UA 733, OZ 772, MU MD11
    PVG-ICN-SFO-PDX on OZ 744, UA 733
(I might fly out of SEA instead of PDX depending on where I'm staying at the time)

    For spring break mini-vacation:

    PDX-CVG-MSY on DL 763, CRJ
    MSY-DFW-PDX on DL CRJ, 738

also if I can scrape up the money I might do this for summer:

    PDX-FRA-TXL on LH A343, A306(?)
    TXL-FRA-PDX on LH A306, A343

The Shanghai trip is independent study so if anyone on here has any good connections at any international companies(especially in the sales/marketing or financial fields) in the Shanghai area it would be great if you could contact me. I'm going to be getting some connections through faculty here at school but any others would be appreciated. Also, if any a.net members want to hook up for some PVG spotting that would be great too.
