QF108 Out Of LAX

Mon Feb 16, 2004 11:19 am

Hi, I am booked to fly in J-class on QF108 from LAX to SYD leaving LAX on Tues. 17th Feb. Can anybody from QF tell me if they know whether the A/C operating that night will have the new sleeper seats, or if not possible, then what are the chances of getting a sleeper-equiped a/c, and in any case which reg. nos. have the new seats. Cheers!

Sorry to tell you that the new sleeper seats will not feature on the transpacific aircraft until later this year.

I think there are only a few of these flying now... they are mainly serving HKG, LHR, and SIN.

Airbear,

In the Great Carfield we trust once again. Although you may not be getting the new Business seats, I am sure that you will still have a very comfortable trip. Have a great time!

Beat me to it, no USA serviced aircraft will be featured until later this year (bar any late aircraft change) Look to QF heavily advertising the US market with this some time towards the end of this year.

Hi QF744... I am in the LAX lounge right now waiting for the QF108.
"but you should have some great inflight films - blockbusters on this month!"...
Thanks, but I think I'd rather get a good nite's sleep. Movies are for daylight flights (or for cases of insomnia  Smile

Airbear.. seems I am a day late and a dollar short, I see you have already arrived............ I flew QF108 in J class and was perfectly comfortable in the old style biz seats. What little was lacking in seat comfort , was more than made up for by outstanding cabin service. Only thing I would suggest is that if you can, get a seat assingment upstairs!

I hope you feel as welcome in the USA as I felt when I visited OZ!!!

Safe Travels..........
J
