Your's reminds me of this time we were waiting for our A320 to be fixed at YYZ and I was talking to the pilot and I said
"Don't you just hate having to have the stick on the side and no yoke?" and on and on just keepen w/ the airbus bashing.
"kid if you were smart you would go away b/c at the rate your going you might want to go to that gate over there and jump on that flight, I hear they're flying a 767, you'll fit right in w/ them!"
He was kidding and we actually talked for a while and he let me in the jump all the way to the sec b4 closing the door and pushback.

On New years day this year I had just arrived from LHR and was standing in the immigration line at JFK. Someone in line asked the question what would make the immigration officers suspect that a passenger trying to enter the country could be a terrorist. Without thinking I turned around to him and said "Well... the wires sticking out of their pockets might be an indication that this is someone who they would want to take a good look at." Some of the people around me who heard this thought it was funny and laughed, but I looked around nervously thinking "Oh oh... maybe I should not have said that" Anyway I was not handcuffed and thrown to the ground or anything like that, but what do you think? Could this statement have gotten me in trouble?

Depends on the mood. If everyone around you was laughing, I highly doubt it. A little sense of humor is okay and I think Customs and TSA allow some of it to a degree.

oh, and i had my mobile confiscated once, and yelled at another time--note, i wasnt actually ON the phone, i pulled it out to check the time--which is not prohibited, as only being ON the phone is. so i had to argue that both times to keep my phone.
