Pilot Lands On Road In Vermont

A private pilot successfully landed a Beech Bonanza on a state highway in Vermont yesterday. He and 3 passengers walked away from it after he lost power at 7500 feet and could not make it to an airport. He passed under a bridge during his rollout. Story is on the following link, which is slow....but hey, what isn't in Vermont?

There was a woman in Aberdeen who got a shock on Christmas eve 2002 when a plane had a birdstrike and vrashed into her on the main road, imagine trying to explain that one to the insurance company !!
