Airline Management Program At George Washington U

I remember reading a few years back about a program at George Washington University in aviation management. Does anybody have any info on that program or know if it is good?

YEAH! I was looking online at their website and couldn't find anything on that program anymore. What happened to it?? Did they shut the program down?

I was really interested in going to it someday!

That's Daryl Jenkins' program. I know he's still teaching 'cos SR103 is doing a course with him as a visiting prof at ERAU. Perhaps he can shed some light?

Is he a visiting prof at ERAU? I was under the impression that he left GWU to establish a similar porgram at ERAU.

The airline management program as it was known at GWU is no more, unfortunately..

It has now been moved to ERAU, ops simulation center and all.
no wire hangers!

I am in the same class as SR103 at ERAU, it is a tough class, but very interesting. Even at ERAU's high tuition i still feel like i am getting a bargain with that class if it tells you anything. But from what i heard GWU wasnt interested in Darryl Jenkins idea for an airline ops center, and ERAU was more than happy to host it, so thats where it stands now....

college of aeronautics has one. i'm in it right now. i think daniel webster has one too, but i may be wrong. i'll check on that.

I GO to GWU.... If there was anything related to the airline industry, and aeronautics, I would know about it.... so, unfortunatley I cannot report that I have heard of anything of the sort at George Washington Univ.

Whats to learn? The airline makes hand over fist for years. Management goes on a buying spree. Then threatens the rank and file with bankruptcy if they don't agree to a pay cut. The end

There is an Aviation Management stream available under the Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies degree at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. Western is one of Canada's top universities. They offer this degree with or without a flight option.

I am also in the same class as SR 103 and RL757PVD, and just as said above about Darryl Jenkins class, it is tough, but very interesting. Despite the class being one day a week, three hours long, it is problably the one and only class that I REALLY look forward to. I can;t wait to see what comes about with the new airline ops center.

As it has been mentioned three times already, I am in Darryl Jenkins class. I have to say it may be a lot of hard work and we only meet once a week, but despite all of this, I think it is one of the most important classes I will ever take while in college. As an airline management student I have learnt more about this topic in this one class than I have in the last three years of college. I think he is a very good professor and definitely knows what he is talking about. Just be prepared for some hard work with him if you do end up under his wing.

My alma mater Dowling College in Oakdale NY, has several undergraduate degree programs in Aeronautics and Management!
