Your Thoughts About Aeroflot

Mon Mar 15, 2004 3:13 am

Flown with Aeroflot a few times to Oslo in Norway. The Tu-154 is the most uncomfortable plane I have ever flown with. Still, sitting in biz class, the very loud sounds made it very difficult to listen to my mp3!! Still, paying $1450 the service was very disappointing.

They have got some nicer modern aircrafts now (although even I have to admit that I like the Russian made ones somehow, because the 'feeling of flying seems different' (imagination))... Welcome here...

OK, ok.
The smell of jetfuel is wonderful and so the sound, but is the sound is hammering on your ears for 3 hours you still get tired of it.. I think taht aeroflot made a good deal purchasing some 737, 777, 767, A320.

I flew with them (SVO-LHR) in November, and I thought the service and the aircraft were very good, much better than I thought they would be. The seats were comfly and wide, food was brilliant and the aircraft was clean.

I have never flown Aeroflot before, but I am going to be taking them this June form SVO - BUD. I am kinda looking forward to it myself! I think i'll be on a TU-154, which, despite the horror stories, should be a neat experience!

I wouldn't hesitate to fly Aeroflot.

When it comes down to it, they are in the top 5 carriers in the world - ever.

How do I come to this?

Supersonic transport of course!

Aeroflot
British Airways
Air France
Singapore Airlines
Braniff

Cheers,

Oh please, I flew WAW-SVO yesterday in row 26 (next to engine intake) on a TU154M and slept for most of the 2 hour flight. Ever been on an AA Super 80, now that's loud....
